General Notary Work (GNW) covers simple, everyday notarizations—things like affidavits, school forms, power of attorney, or a single document that just needs a signature witnessed. It’s quick, straightforward, and doesn’t involve complex legal or real estate processes.
Specialized Signings involve higher‑level transactions such as real estate closings, loan packages, title documents, or state‑regulated processes. These signings often require additional training, certifications, or even a Title Producer License (TPL) or attorney involvement depending on the state. Because of the added responsibility, compliance requirements, and time involved, the fees are different from standard GNW rates
